The Reign of Norm and Kennedy Begins!

img_3951The wind made things a little difficult this year, but that wasn’t enough to stop Mike Kennedy and Matt Anderson from pulling down the hardware.  They were the only team to break 70, shooting a 3-under 69 to beat the team of Levi Dickie and Mike Biebl by 2.

The win was Norm’s 5th JA title, which is believed to be the most of any player in JA history.  Kennedy’s won quite a few titles himself; this one was either his third or fourth.  They’ll be back to defend their crown next year, so everyone else…sharpen up!

There we no eagles this year, so the Eagle Club goblets will all go back in storage.  Also, the hole-in-one pot grew by $100 this year, so next year’s JA will feature a cool $190 in the pot plus whatever we collect next year.

The results:

1) Matt Anderson/Mike Kennedy: 69 (-3)
2) Levi Dickie/Mike Biebl: 71 (-1)
3) Paul Herold/Jeremy Kletzin: 74(+2)
