We are under two weeks from the 15th playing of the Joe and Angie Classic. Wow! That’s a lot of years. Hopefully the Frederic Golf Course will throw little Angie a quinceañera party while we’re all out searching for birdies.
Tee times this year will start around 11:00am and like last year, this will be a two-man scramble. I’m looking to get 24 people signed up by next Tuesday (the 6th) so I can do the draw for teams and get the trash talk going!
Last year’s champions Jeff Rosner and Mike Dirksen have selected pulled pork for our post-tournament banquet this year. They are also looking forward to defending their crown (I anticipate their defense will be as weak as a drink at the Danbury casino). Get your game sharp so you can knock them off their perch!
Again, the cost is $25 for the entry fee (payable to me) and then about $50 for the golf, cart and food (payable at the course the day of the tournament).
