Scores in this year’s JA Classic looked a lot more like the US Open this year…granted, two-man teams had a lot to do with that. And on a day when only two teams managed to break par, it was Jeff Rosner and Mike Dirksen that went the lowest and brought home the 2015 hardware.
Things didn’t look so hot for the Rosner/Dirksen duo to start…in fact, they were a pedestrian even par at the turn thanks to a bogey on 5 that negated a birdie on 4. They made par on 10, then went on a birdie binge that included skin-winning birds on 11 and 17. Their 31 on the back gave them a 67 for the round, good enough for a four-shot win over Jason Voigt and Tim Bruns.

No one joined the Eagle Club this year, so the plastic goblets will gather a little more dust before coming out of storage for next year’s event.
